Called on a Friday, said they'd come out first thing Monday morning. Called Monday morning when no one showed up and they said we never scheduled anything. Yet they had my information on file.. They eventually did send someone and the problem was fixed. I paid $325 at time of service. Just got a bill for $262 for the same job. Not only did they overcharge me, now they're trying to double bill. Horrible company. Will never use them again.

I called concerned about my water heater. Eddie came out inspected what I have and explained the situation very thoroughly. He also gave me a quote if I want to replace an upgrade my current water heater. Since he was here for HPS, I showed him the backwash that was corroded. He will be replacing that for me next month. Great attitude and very friendly and explained everything so that me as a female can understand! I highly recommend using this company. When I called for the appointment on Friday they gave me a Monday appointment.

Frankie was very professional during the service. My anxiety increases when I need plumbing repairs, but Frankie put me at ease and completed the job quickly but efficiently. I will definitely use HPS again!

They were able to diagnose and fix a problem with my water heater same-day. The problem was one that a different plumber couldn't identify and had recommended replacement. I will use HPS again.

I had to call a plumber after detecting a seepage at the foundation.. The first plumbing company I called refused to check in the crawl space after the leak was found to not be from inside the house. They basically refused the job. I called HPS and they arrived promptly. Manny and Frank arrived and diagnosed and fixed the problem. I will call HPS first from now on.

Woke up this morning the way no one ever wants to... with two flooded bathrooms. I called HPS and they told me that they would get someone out this afternoon. Well, just a couple of minutes later, I got a call from a tech telling me that he could actually be there right now. So from call to arrival was only about half an hour. Both techs (Frankie and Jesse) were very friendly and helpful, and very clearly explained what the issue was. I can't fault anyone, from the people who initially answered my call, to the techs, to the billing department, on their customer service. Was the price a little high? I don't know. Plumbers are expensive in general, and when you're up to your ankles in water, you're not counting pennies. But there were no surprises. I was told how much the service would cost and why in advance, which is more than a lot of companies do. I will definitely call HPS in the future.

Our technician, Albert did a great job. Courteous, professional and respectful. I had an appointment for next Tuesday. They had a cancelation and come today, Friday.

HPS Tech. arrived at my house, the same day I called requesting installation of my new toilet tank. Service Technician Albert Sanchez was extremely professional in his listening skills, and work ethic. He provided information and estimate immediately and wasted no time. He was meticulous and took great steps to prep the area around the toilet to keep everything dry. He cleaned up and removed the old tank and lid. He was pleasant and kind and very respectful. I am thrilled to have found a Plumber that I can trust and will call again if needed.

We have used HPS many times for plumbing repairs and replacements. Their technicians are on time, friendly, and professional. The office staff are responsive and friendly as well. Top notch company! Highly recommend!

The technician, Albert Sanchez, did a great job! He was on time, efficient, professional, thorough, polite and friendly. Our water heater failed on Sunday (yesterday) and HPS replaced it Monday morning. We have used this company before and had great service and did again.

We had our water heater go out on the weekend and the dispatcher had a serviceman with a new water heater at our door within an hour. The serviceman had the new top quality water heater insulated and he upgraded the waterline to Bakersfield City codes within a few hours. The service was great and efficient. The price was lower than what we were expecting for a weekend emergency project, which made us even happier. Definitely the best plumbing service in Bakersfield and I highly recommend them.

HPS plumbing stepped in when I had a problem with another plumbing company - have been very happy with their service - Especially with their representative Edgar. He is knowledgeable and courteous. He kept me updated on arrival times, etc. Am happy to recommend HPS and Edgar.

I called HPS for a plumber to fix my whole house shutoff valve, and was delighted to find that they sent Edgar . He did his usual excellent job. I should probably have placed this review over a year ago, as at the time, he not only provided excellent plumbing services, but was incredibly kind-- taking care of a big problem for my 95 year old father who had moderate dementia. We'd had a "budget" plumber install a toilet in my father's bathroom. The toilet leaked at the seal and rotted out the floor, so now we needed both the toilet and flooring replaced. Ordinarily, those things would be done on separate days and the bathroom would be out of commission for an extended period. Edgar recruited, and coordinated with, Jost flooring (they were also wonderful) to get it all done in less than one day so that my father's routine would be as little disrupted as possible. I am forever grateful for both the skill and the compassion shown by Edgar and this company. I have used them for other work and their plumbers have been consistently competent, polite and left their work spaces clean.
